Title: Population Based Estimates of Non Fatal Injuries in the Capital of Iran
نویسندگان
چکیده
The revised version does not address some of the important limitations highlighted by the previous reviews, in particular the injury incidence calculations. Recall bias for less severe injuries is well established and the notion that the responsible household member will recall all injuries irrespective of severity for all members does not hold good. A quick review of published literature on injuries (in general or specific types of injuries) will highlight how important it is to address the recall bias issue. These calculations should be redone using 3 months recall period data.
